We dropped in on Brittany and James during their wedding rehearsal at Crescent Bend to view the ceremony layout and to check out the amazing gardens that are currently in full bloom filled with thousands of tulips.
We sneaked off with Brittany and James for a short portrait session in the gardens before rehearsal dinner.
About Crescent Bend House & Gardens:
The Crescent Bend- Armstrong-Lockett House [part of the Kingston Pike Historic Districtadded to the NRHP in 1996], which includes the beautiful terraced gardens of the William P. Toms Memorial Gardens over looks the Tennessee River in Knoxville, TN. This grand estate was build in 1834 by Drury Paine Armstrong. Spring and Summer are the best time to view the estate as the gardens will be in full bloom. Crescent Bend House and Gardens is open to the general public year round and is available for wedding ceremony’s and receptions.
