This past weekend we joined several family’s at the Funny Bunny Day Easter Egg Hunt for an amazing day at the Crescent Bend in Knoxville. The weather was perfect and the secondary garden beds were full of beautiful tulips. The children had an amazing time with several egg hunts throughout the day with all kinds of arts and crafts functions in between.
The Easter eggs were filled with kid jokes that the children were able to turn in for special prizes.
Crescent Bend staff had their work cut out for them as they hide hundreds of eggs before each hunt.
Our 17 month old daughter (Addisyn) on her first Easter egg hunt!

All week they had called for rain and that would have surely spelled trouble for this beautiful garden wedding loaded with thousands of tulips in full bloom at the Crescent Bend Estate. Brittany had selected the month of April and Crescent Bend location just for it’s amazing award-winning gardens. The bride and groom showed up early and ready to go (a first in… I don’t know how many weddings) and the rain held off to make this one of the most beautiful garden weddings that we have covered in several years.

I just completed my last appointment of the year at Crescent Bend with 6 hours to spare before the new year comes ringing in. I met up with Brittany & James to document their finial review of Crescent Bend & complete their photography contract for their April wedding. Brittany has carefully planned the timing of her wedding at Crescent Bend to take full advantage of the 25,000 beautiful tulips that will start coming in around the first of April. I know these two will be amazing together on the big day & I look forward to their engagement session in the coming weeks.

It turned out to be a beautiful day for the event as the gardens where overflowing with pink tulips and the guest were entertained by the Smokyland Sound Quartet of Knoxville, Tennessee.
