About Magnolia Plantation & Gardens
The beautiful Magnolia Plantation & Gardens was originally build by Thomas Drayton in 1676 and over looks the Ashley River in Charleston, South Carolina. The gardens throughout the estate are amazing and filled with azalea’s, camellias, daffodils and several other variety of flowers. This is also a paradise haven for migratory birds & local species. Surviving the American Revolution and Civil War this plantation is the oldest public gardens in America.
