All week they had called for rain and that would have surely spelled trouble for this beautiful garden wedding loaded with thousands of tulips in full bloom at the Crescent Bend Estate. Brittany had selected the month of April and Crescent Bend location just for it’s amazing award-winning gardens. The bride and groom showed up early and ready to go (a first in… I don’t know how many weddings) and the rain held off to make this one of the most beautiful garden weddings that we have covered in several years.
The groom awaits in the lower garderns to see the bride for the first time.

About Crescent Bend House & Gardens:
The Crescent Bend- Armstrong-Lockett House [part of the Kingston Pike Historic District added to the NRHP in 1996], which includes the beautiful terraced gardens of the William P. Toms Memorial Gardens over looks the Tennessee River in Knoxville, TN. This grand estate was build in 1834 by Drury Paine Armstrong. Spring and Summer are the best time to view the estate as the gardens will be in full bloom. Crescent Bend House and Gardens is open to the general public year round and is available for wedding ceremony’s and receptions.
