Riverplains Farm to Music – Strawberry Plains

I stepped out of the studio this past Saturday evening to attend the Farm to Music event at Riverplains Farm in Strawberry Plains.  Getting the chance to get back on a farm with falls colors in play, clear skies and cool temperatures with two great vocalise playing wasn’t something I was going to miss.  I showed up early!  The evening started with some amazing food from the sponsor of the event.  Mother Earth Meats.  As the sun set in the west.  Josh Oliver from Knoxville had the honors of kicking off the evening.  “Man… I could have listen to him all night.”  Josh just re-least his debut album Troubles.  Jennifer Niceley took the stage for the rest of the evening joined by Taylor Coker on upright bass, Josh Oliver on keys, guitars and backing vocals; and Dave Racine on drums.  Her folk and Americana vocal style performance was truly amazing.  As Jennifer’s sung songs from her new album Body and Soul that came out earlier this year.
