The Dogwood Arts Festival (Presented by Knoxville Comprehensive Breast Center) held their annual Diva Luncheon this past Tuesday at The Foundry in Knoxville, TN. The ladies where presented with lunch and a Wearable Art Fashion Show with the clothing designer’s in attendance.
We were so excited when Jenna’s mother contacted us last month to inform us that Jenna had won Miss UNC Pembroke this past February. Jenna is always a lot of fun to photography and we wish her all the best… as she will be competing for Miss North Carolina later this year.

We met up with Stephanie & Josh at Wild Dunes Yacht Harbor in Isle of Palms for their intimate wedding aboard the fifty (50) foot Serena. Captained by John Borden, they cruised out to the inlet for a beautiful ceremony on the water. After completing their cruise the newly married couple, family & guest continued the celebration at the amazing Magnolias restaurant in the historical district of downtown Charleston.

This past Saturday I volunteered to cover the”Blooms for the Cure” event which raised funds for the Knoxville Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation at Crescent Bend House & Gardens. The foundation that helps fund Breast Cancer research and the education for early detection. It turned out to be a beautiful day for the event as the gardens where overflowing with pink tulips and the guest were entertained by the Smokyland Sound Quartet of Knoxville, Tennessee.
This was an amazing event that Crescent Bend put on this year to help raise funds for the Knoxville Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Don’t forget to mark your calendars for next years “Blooms for the Cure”!
About Crescent Bend House & Gardens:
The Crescent Bend – Armstrong-Lockett House [part of the Kingston Pike Historic District add to the NRHP in 1996] & the William P. Toms Memorial Garden is located on Crescent Bend overlooking the Tennessee River in Knoxville, TN. With the hair and make-up part of the day out of the way. We went over to The Carolina Hotel & Pinehurst #2 golf course for an amazing photography session. Please enjoy the sneak peak of the first part of the day with Brooke. The Signature Bridal Session won’t be released until after her wedding in May.
