Cynthia and I just recently came back from the Miami Beach International Bridal Week Fashion Show held at the Eden Roc Renaissance Hotel in Miami Beach.  This 2-day event set the bar high for all bridal shows alike.  The event was kicked off with seminars throughout the day, Exhibitor’s hall,  Grooms Lounge and was followed by a Couture Bridal Fashion Show & the Bloomingdale’s luxury bridal lingerie runway fashion show.

This amazing hand crystal-encrusted and hand embroidery gown was designed by Umar Sayeed.

The beautiful work of Republic of Georiga designer Patuna Bushyhead.

 This elegant couture wedding gown was designed by Fadila Kihel for Mirage Couture in Algeria.

Not to forget the grooms.  The Groom’s Lounge “man cave” included hand rolled cigars, wide screen tv’s and open bar.

 South Beach Cigar Company was just one of the many sponsors of the Groom’s Lounge. 

This is a state of the art touch screen photo booth by The South Beach Photo Booth Company.  This jewel is second to none.

Each evening was concluded by The Bloomingdale’s luxury bridal lingerie runway fashion show.

About Miami Beach International Fashion Week [MBIFW]:

The 13th annual Miami Beach International Fashion Week is produced by Sobol-Perry Fashion Productions, Inc and was held at the Miami Beach Convention Center March 3 – 6th in South Beach, Florida. The event showcased designers from Europe, USA Canada, the Caribbean, Middle East and Asia, as well as the largest showcase of Latin American design talent in the United States. This years event was the largest fashion week to date. Moroccanoil was the presenting sponsor for this years event with several participating sponsors that included Copa Airlines, Goya Foods, Equinox, Stella Artois, Barefoot Bubbly, Icelandic Glacierand Yahoo! Hispanic Americas. This year the event showcased 60 designers from 22 countries, hosting several seminars for the fashion industry, providing live music performances each evening with several competition winners announced each evening for designers & student categories. The guests also had the option to upgrade their evening to a VIP status each evening that allowed them full access to the VIP Culinary Style Cafe. Chef’s for this years even included Casa D’Angelo’s Elia, Ceterplate’s Jonathan Barnett, Baru Urbano’s Alberto Bogado, Goya Foods Fernando Desa.

A few weeks before departing for a on-location shoot in Miami.  I learned about a wonderful foundation (Woodstock Foundation) that was putting on a fundraising event just north of Miami.  So I contacted the Event Chairman, Richard Jankus to volunteer my services & time to support this great event.  I truly enjoy giving back & each year I find myself donating my services & time to wonderful causes & organizations such as this one.  The “Fashionista” was held this past Friday at the Players Club in Wellington, Florida.  The event offered supporters a red carpet experience, cocktail party, multi-course dinner & the “Fashionista” fashion show.
