We spent the evening enjoying the beautiful Penobscot Bay in Belfast, Maine a few weeks ago. This small town is the perfect summer haven for sailboat goers and for any tourist who would love to get away for the weekend on the eastern coast of Maine. Timing is everything when traveling throughout the country and this trip was no different. Freeport, Maine was the place to be in the United States after celebrating Independence day this year. As L. L. Bean was celebrating it’s 100th year anniversary.

Just one of the amazing animal displays inside L. L. Bean’s 200,000 sq. ft. flagship store in Freeport.

Our drive up into the Adirondack Mountains has been incredible. The endless amount of trail heads to hike on throughout these mountains is a hiker’s paradise. This is a “must do” for me on my next trip up here.

Buffalo Skyline coming to the end.

It has been a long travel to reach Buffalo, New York in just one day to celebrate the 4th of July. This would be my first trip back in many years and I have my wife & oldest daughter with me to share this amazing trip throughout the Northeastern part of the United States.
